The ResortTV1 YouTubers love and report on all things Disney. As stated on their YouTube page, they “do Live Streams in the Parks, Vlogs, Park Tours, Resort Hotel Tours, and Resort TV all in very high quality with many videos in 4K! We do a live stream in a park every Friday at 6:00 or 6:30pm ET, and we have new videos every day at 9:00am!”
In a recent video, they opened a package with The Disney Planner 2020: The TO DO List Solutioninside. Check out the reaction below starting at about the 48:43 mark of the video! Thanks, ResortTV1!
If you love Disney, and are serious about reaching goals and getting things done day-to-day and month-to-month, then THE DISNEY PLANNER 2020 is for you. Consider...
"This is the ultimate to-do list. Oh, my gosh!... This is amazing." - Michael Kay, leading YouTube Disney vlogger
"That is really cool ... looks like fun." - ResortTV1, leading YouTube Disney vloggers
THE DISNEY PLANNER 2020: THE TO DO LIST SOLUTIONcombines a simple, powerful system for getting things done with encouragement and fun for Disney fans, including those who love Mickey, Marvel, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Pixar, and more.
With each day, you’ll enjoy quotes from Walt Disney, other Disney leaders, experts, fans, and hundreds of characters, along with facts about theme parks, movies and much more.
Ray Keating, who is the publisher, editor and columnist for DisneyBizJournal.com, and a novelist, entrepreneur, podcaster, and marketer, explains: “Spending each day during the year using THE DISNEY PLANNER 2020: THE TO DO LIST SOLUTIONmakes sense if you’re a Disney fan, if you want to enjoy valuable and fun quotes and facts from the Disney universe, and if you’re looking for a daily takeaway that will make at least a small difference in your outlook, your work, and your life.”
Keating added, “The act of using ‘The TO DO List Solution’ requires reflection on goals; forces prioritization; allows for being more realistic about time management; and generates serious thought on how to best get things done (such as breaking down projects into manageable steps).”
Unless you’ve been hiding under a porg nest recently, you are no doubt aware that this week marks the opening of the first Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland (May 31st). For some, that is cause for great joy, while for others, there is great gnashing of teeth because they weren’t one of the lucky few who snagged opening week reservations.

Alas, we feel your pain. We are not among the chosen ones. We will, however, be living vicariously through the good folks at ResortTV1, who were able to scoop up not just an opening day time slot, but reservations for later in the week as well. As you’ve read here in the past, ResortTV1 has developed new tech that gives them superior live stream capabilities, and they are working to bring opening day to the rest of us off-planet residents during their Friday live stream.
If you’ve tried to watch live streams from Disneyland in the past, you know that Disneyland is notoriously difficult to live stream. Dead zones make certain areas of the park impossible to cover, but Britt (the ResortTV1 West Coast crew) and Josh and Jenna (the East Coast team) have worked hard to figure it out and get rid of the dreaded lag. Streaming availability at Galaxy’s Edge is a big unknown at this point, since no one has tried to do it yet. If anyone will make it work, it will be ResortTV1, and it will be exciting (hopefully) to see how well the new Black Spire outpost is set up to allow live stream and web access.
Don’t forget that Disney itself will be live streaming the special dedication ceremony on the Disney Parks Blogon May 29that 8:20 PDT/11:20 pm EDT.

Here are a couple Disney-related video streaming recommendations to check out over the weekend.
ResortTV1
You may have seen our recent post on the creative technology that ResortTV1 is bringing to the table in the live streaming arena. They are developing new tech that allows them to seamlessly switch not only from park location to park location within Disney World, but from coast to coast, transferring live instantly from the World on Florida's east coast to the Land in California on the West Coast. Now, ResortTV1 is bringing you another coast to coast adventure, and we can't wait to see it! On Friday, May 31st, ResortTV1 will be live streaming the opening day of Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland, followed by a live stream on August 29th of the opening of Galaxy's Edge in Disney World.
On May 3rd, ResortTV1 also hit a milestone in becoming number one on live trending (they hit more than 2100 viewers watching live that evening).
Water Rescue Equipment
This week, Rob at "Passport to the Parks" speculated on the appearance of some new equipment at Disney World, providing great multi-day video of the custom pieces that are slated to be used for water rescue evacuations for the upcoming gondola systems over Hourglass Lake. (Water rescues for the new system have been an ongoing source of concern and speculation for future riders.) If you've been following the gondola progress at all, you'll know that Rob has been ahead of the story with interesting, exclusive video on the gondolas since the very beginning. We have a link to the newest video, but if you are interested in the gondola system (slated to open by Fall 2019), it is worth keeping an eye on Rob's videos. He doesn't just provide unique video of the systems and their unveilings, but offers a few technical explanations of the operations along the way, in a very conversational and visitor-friendly format. He's certainly become "the gondola guy!"
On Saturday, April 13, ResortTV1 will be taking livestreaming to a level not previously achieved.
ResortTV1 has announced that it will be going live from all six U.S. Disney theme parks – from Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California – at the same time. The all-day stream will be switching between all six parks thanks to, according to the ResortTV1 announcement, “stream-hopping technology.” ResortTV1 says this is the first time that all six parks will be in one livestream.
ResortTV1 will be jumping on at least one ride in each park, along with highlighting shows, food, shopping, special guests, chats and, as they put it, “family fun.”
This epic livestream will start at 9:00 AM EST on April 13, and the plan is to go close to closing time in Disneyland. Wow! ResortTV1 is right in calling this livestream “epic.”
Livestreaming from the Disney parks has become wildly popular, and this is a fascinating step being taken by ResortTV1. I certainly wish them success on Saturday. Indeed, a full-day of livestreaming from all six U.S. parks is a dream come true for many Disney aficionados. It should set the bar higher for other livestreams – Disney-related and others – going forward.
