If you have taken a vacation to Walt Disney World in recent years, then you are painfully aware that this is not exactly an affordable getaway. And much always is made when Disney boosts prices on tickets, etc. At the same time, however, there are opportunities to save some bucks. And Disney just announced a couple of those opportunities.

First, summer 2020 dates for Disney’s free dining plan were just served up. This is a favorite option in our household.

If you book your vacation by January 16, then the free dining dates are June 27 through 28, July 5 through 7, and August 29 through September 8, 2020. As Disney explains: “With this offer, enjoy a FREE dining plan when you purchase a non-discounted 5-night/6-day vacation package that includes a room at a select Disney Resort hotel and a ticket with Park Hopper option.” Those dates are pretty narrow options, but if you’re flexible as to when you can attend, the free dining plan is a delicious savings option. (See offer highlights here.)

Second, if you’re planning to visit Disney World earlier in the year, then there is an option to save 10 percent to 20 percent on your room at certain Disney hotels. This savings opportunity covers January 2 through April 25, and reservations must be made by March 7. For good measure, if you add 6-day or longer theme park tickets, each person (ages 3 and up) receives a $30 Disney gift card. (See offer highlights here.)

Hey, every bit helps when trying to make that Disney trip more affordable.
