Disneyland Paris is the lone Disney park closed right now, though other parks have had fits and starts with their capacities and ticket availabilities in recent months.  (Hong Kong Disneyland park is still closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays, except public holidays and designated days until further notice, but is open the rest of the week.)

Yesterday, Disney announced that Disneyland Paris will reopen June 17, with Disneyland Park, Walt Disney Studios Park, Disney’s Newport Bay Club Hotel and Disney Village back in business.

When the parks reopen, there will be fresh activities for park-goers, including Star Wars Legends, billed as “a new galactic experience,” and The Cheshire Cat Express Train, which will feature characters from Alice in Wonderland. Cars ROAD TRIP and Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel will also debut.

Cars ROAD TRIP at Walt Disney Studios Park will let guests “take the wheel on a Cars-themed road trip along Route 66, discovering local natural wonders like the World’s Largest Lugnut and the Cars-tastrophe Canyon; with popular Characters such as Lightning McQueen and Mater coming along for the ride.”

Guests can also stay in the new Disney’s Hotel New York  – The Art of Marvel beginning June 21. This four-star, Marvel-themed hotel is styled as a New York art gallery with more than 350 original pieces of Marvel artwork, and will open for bookings today, May 18. (Hotel New York is now home to the largest publicly viewable collection of Marvel artwork.)

Guests booking before July 29, 2021, with an arrival date before March 30, 2022 will take home an exclusive Marvel print by artist Matt Ferguson and receive a free non-alcoholic drink in one of the “typical New York bars” in the new hotel. Activities at the hotel include the Marvel Hero Photo Stations, the Hero Training Zone, and the Marvel Design Studio, where want-to-be young artists can learn how to create their own Marvel artwork.

Other Disneyland Paris hotels opening in the coming weeks, dependent on changing COVID conditions, include:

• Disney’s Newport Bay Club (June 17)

• Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne (July 1)

• Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch (July 13)
