Disney+ dropped the trailer for The Book of Boba Fett today, and I can’t help but get excited.
With The Mandalorian, we’ve been treated to some of the best Star Wars tales ever told, with the Western serving as the unmistakable inspiration.
Now, with The Book of Boba Fett, it looks like we’re going to get some Star Wars inspired by mobster movies. Hmmm, should we be tempted to think about The Godfather, The Godfather Part II, Good Fellas, Scarface, et al?
Might Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni and Company take some cues from the likes of Coppola, Scorsese, DePalma and Hawks? Oh, let’s hope so.
