Tune in to WDW Radio Lou
Mongello’s interview with Dan
Cockerell. As noted in the description of this episode of Lou’s podcast: “The
Cockerell name is synonymous with not just leadership, but a legacy of customer
service and exceptional guest experience in the Disney Company. Dan Cockerell’s
story of summers in the Epcot parking lot to VP of Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood
Studios, and Magic Kingdom is a shining example of not just what you can learn
from the Disney Company, but being able to make and leave positive change in
your wake. Dan joins me this week to talk about his journey from the Walt
Disney World College Program, to Disneyland Paris, leading and learning from
Cast Members in Walt Disney World, to using technology to communicate with them
on a large, yet intimate scale.” And as noted on Dan Cockerell’s website, “Dan started
his Disney career as a participant of the Walt Disney World college program,
and worked his way up to Vice President, Magic Kingdom, leading a team of
12,000 cast members, who entertain millions of guests every year.”
